Ideal for most process applications, the standard SC-Series, single stage models handle flows from 250 to 110,000 m³/h (147 to 64,900 ACFM). Standard twin-pinion, TP-Series models handle flows from 590 to 5900 m³/h (1000 to 10,000 ACFM). 1 - Horizontallysplit bearings facilitate inspection and maintenance. Tilting-pad, radial and tapered land thrust bearings are used on the pinion shafts. Sleeve bearings are used on the low speed bull gear shaft. 2 - Integral speed increasing gear features AGMA Q-13 standard helical gearing with precise gear mesh geometry to help ensure reliable performance and smooth operation. Gives high mechanical efficiency and low resonance effect. Operation is between the first and second criticals with adequate operating margins. 3 - Adjustable diffuser vanes complement impeller aerodynamic characteristics to achieve higher adiabatic efficiencies. Diffuser vanes help maintain constant head at reduced flow. 4 - Adjustable inlet guide vanes provide efficient control at a constant speed over a broad capacity range. 5 - High performance impellers are precisely matched to your flow and pressure requirements. Open and closed, radial and backward leaning blade designs provide maximum efficiency. 6 - Compressor housings can be cast from grey iron, nodular iron, steel, 316 stainless steel or commercially pure titanium. Fabricated housings can be supplied for lower operating pressures. 7 - Extensive shaft seal selection provides the best solution for the process applications.
