Centrifugal air compressors

Cost-effective H-Series air compressors are widely used in automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical, mining and air separation industries. The major components of each H-Series compressor package, the aerodynamic section, interstage coolers, integral gearing, lubrication system and operating controls have been engineered to deliver reliable performance. 1- Single helical integral gearing counterbalances aerodynamic thrust load. Gears are designed by Atlas Copco and manufactured to meet AGMA Q-13 (DIN 5/6) specifications. 2 - H-Series impellers are designed with backward-leaning blades to provide excellent flow/pressure ratios and superior turndown. 3 - Inlet guide vanes are an optional alternative for improving reduced load performance and reducing energy costs by as much as 9%. An inlet throttle valve is included as standard. 4 - Interstage piping is connected by sealed Victaulic couplings so it can be easily removed without disassembling interstage coolers. 5 - Horizontally-split gearbox simplifies inspection and maintenance of seals and bearings without disconnecting system piping. 6 - Optional parallel-flow manifold connects cooling water for inter coolers and oil cooler to a common inlet and outlet. Discharge throttle valves on each cooler are included. 7 - Electric drive motors are available in various voltages and enclosures. Other drivers are available including steam turbines and gas or diesel powered engines. Other types of drivers can be supplied. 8 - Atlas Copco PLC controller monitors critical parameters during operation. Standardised sequencing and data logging systems can also be supplied. Other control systems can be supplied to meet your requirements. 9 - Precisely balanced flexible disc drive coupling minimises vibration and eliminates the need for coupling lubrication. Other coupling methods can be supplied. 10 - Compact, unitised base integrates the frame, inter coolers and lube oil reservoir to provide exceptional torsional rigidity. 11 - Interstage coolers are water in tube, air in shell configuration that can be cleaned in place for easy on-site maintenance. Water tubes are large diameter, straight through flow.
